Anomaly Zone Renovation has been updated, stalkers! This update brings mail, a friends list and blacklist, an improved quest journal, mutant butchering, and many other improvements.

New Gameplay Features

Mail

Mail services are now available in the personal storage window. You can send items and money to yourself or another stalker by entering their nickname in the recipient field.

Parcels can only be sent to post offices in settlements you have already visited. Post offices are available wherever there is personal storage.

Choose from delivery options with different prices and delivery times. You can also add a short message to your parcel.

When a parcel arrives at its destination, the recipient receives a notification in chat.

Friends and Blacklist

Added a friends and blacklist menu. Open it by pressing F11 or clicking the button above the chat.

Once a friend request is accepted, you can see when your friend last logged in, receive chat notifications when they come online, and invite them to your squad from the same window.

The blacklist blocks messages and friend requests from players you have added to it.

Quest Journal

The quest journal now displays reward item icons alongside their names.

The tracked quests panel now has a contrasting background. Long lists can be collapsed.

Carcass Butchering

To collect parts from a defeated mutant, you now need to butcher its carcass with a knife. Keep your knife in working condition with a sharpening stone, available from repair NPCs.

Important! To more than make up for the time spent butchering, we have significantly increased both the quantity and value of the loot from each mutant:

• Increased the number of parts you can obtain: each mutant can now yield multiple common and rare parts. For example, you may get two or three spider legs instead of one.

• Added 70 new mutant parts, including especially valuable trophies.

Dynamic Transport

With this update, preparations begin for the first test runs between settlements.

Once routes are established, vehicles will travel along them in real time. Stalkers will be able to help scout and open these routes.

We will announce the launch of the first test routes separately.

Progression

• Added butchering perks that increase the chance of obtaining parts from specific groups of mutants.

• Added a melee weapon repair perk.

Quests

• Added a quest to the initial tutorial that introduces mutant butchering.

• Completing the “Vesuvius” quest from Doctor Home at the Aegis scientists’ camp now also awards 150 Trade Points and 200 reputation.

Locations and Mutants

• Adjusted mutant spawn locations and numbers.

• Vesuvius: increased the number of fast imps per respawn from 1 to 3 at the pioneer camp and Echo-7.

• Vesuvius: removed the fortified positions at the training ground and near the waterfall.

• Thin Lakes: added Sighted Sages in grid square ??5. They can drop the “Antigrav B” artifact and a Sighted Sage Medallion.

Graphics

• Improved the weather system: rain no longer falls inside buildings.

• Added thunder and lightning effects.

Economy and Equipment

• Rebalanced the weight and price of all mutant parts.

• Selling any mutant parts to buyers in Gourmet’s Village, at the Radio Tower, at Radius Outpost, or at the House of Culture now awards Trade Points.

• AK-74M: price reduced from 5,240,000 to 3,500,000; required Trade Points reduced from 4,000 to 2,000.

• AK-74U: price reduced from 455,000 to 400,000; required Trade Points reduced from 800 to 500.

• AK-74: price reduced from 1,675,000 to 1,000,000; required Trade Points reduced from 1,500 to 1,000.

• The MK12-SPR can now be fitted with the MSS 4× scope.

Fixes

• Fixed an issue that prevented the respawn window from appearing after death.

• Fixed an issue with invisible moving anomalies.

• Fixed character actions getting stuck when interacting with the belt.
